Host Your Event at Gaia House

Many people come to Gaia House's weekly programs and special events. But did you know that you can host your own events at Gaia House too?

As a hospitality center, Gaia House is here to serve as a venue for your meetings, community classes, and other events. Several community meetings happen here on a weekly basis, but there are still plenty of times throughout the week when you can reserve part or all of the building. We keep our Saturdays available so that people like you can host private functions such as parties, reunions, workshops, retreats, weddings, and more at Gaia House. We also have a video projector and sound system (including microphone and mixer amp) available to meet your audio and visual needs.

This event will feature live music by the Southern Illinois West African Drum Ensemble (SIWADE), local folk musician Candy Davis, and other performers. There will also be an information fair with representatives from groups at Gaia House and in the local community that share the center’s commitment to the values of peace, social justice, and ecological sustainability.

It also includes posts about one of our programs, Questions of Faith and Reality. Check out this blog for more information on our Questions group and many other fascinating topics.
